You might think the cover art for India Ramey’s new album, “Blood Crescent Moon,” looks cool and creepy, sultry and spooky. And you’d be right.

India Ramey Bio
India Ramey is a Nashville alt-country/Americana artist. The granddaughter of a Sand Mountain, AL bluegrass and gospel musician, India was born with music in her blood.
India grew up listening to everything from gospel choir, to Willie Nelson, to Pat Benatar to the Ramones. She went from singing Jesse Coulter tunes into a curling iron at age 4 to putting out 2 albums. India’s journey, however was not typical. Before going full time with her music career, and to the shock of her friends and family, she gave up a successful law practice to do so and she has never looked back.
Her first album, Junkyard Angel received much acclaim, including an Independent Music Award nomination for “Best Country Song.” India’s second album, Blood Crescent Moon, has also recently received an Independent Music Award Nomination. With its southern gothic themes, haunting lyrics, driving rhythms and powerful vocals, “Blood Crescent Moon” tells tales of love, to lose, to revenge. Having had the honor of playing some of the Southeast’s legendary venues as well as various music festivals and concert series, India has developed a strong and loyal following over the past 5 years that only continues to build.
